Purpose of the position:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and organizing the Denville Scientific Product Lines from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

Working within the commercial team framework:

  • Develop and implement annual and 3-year strategic marketing plan
  • Determine product branding strategy
  • Develop product road map based on customer analysis, market analysis, competitive analysis, and Denville’s core competencies
  • Lead customer facing opportunities for new product development
  • Implement new Business Development initiatives
  • Perform product management
  • Manage all product life cycles
  • Work with marcom and Technical Services for web content, outbound campaigns, educational seminars and workshops, and marketing collateral
  • Develop training for sales and customer service
  • Assist Commercial leadership and business development as appropriate
  • Work with sales and operations to implement and optimize channel strategy

Educational Background and Skill Requirements:

  • BS or greater in Biology or related life sciences
  • MBA in Marketing preferred
  • Experience in consumable lab supplies
  • Minimum of 5 years strategic marketing experience
  • Experience with developing and implementing marketing plans
  • Experience in product P&L management
  • Experience working with sales to develop go-to-market strategy
  • Experience working with new product development
  • Experience working with operations and supply chain for product line forecasting
