The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving sales and margin growth in their territory by creating and driving sales directly with the customers. They will also be responsible for following company initiatives and establishing product differential that enhance the Denville value proposition as a leading distributor of scientific products which deliver value to our marketplace and delight our customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
*Identifying, developing, and managing all accounts assigned in their geographic territory, and enhance the overall value proposition in the marketplace for Denville.
*Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with purchasing, customers and suppliers to create a strong foundation for ongoing business relationships, and consistently positioning Denville as the distributor of choice for both customers and suppliers.
*Managing the product portfolio mix of private label, exclusive and branded products for maximum sales, profitability and customer satisfaction, that delivers on the Denville value proposition.
*Analyzing and tracking sales performance by account, product category, monitor key competitive and customer trends and market indices resulting in the implementation of appropriate and successful plans to accelerate category and Denville growth.

B.S. in Scientific Discipline is preferred but not required.
Sales experience is preferred or equivalent experience in the Life Science or Scientific Market is a plus.
Position is based in Baltimore.
50% travel expected.
